It was brought to the publics attention yesterday that legendary rapper Heavy D had passed away at the very young age of 44. Following this unfortunate news I feel that it would be fitting to dedicate this weeks Throwback Thursday to him. Heavy D was a rapper from the good old days where rap and urban music in general seemed to be filled with more passion and authenticity compared to some of the junk that is released these days. Let’s all take a step back into the 90′s and rock our heads to the sounds of Mr Heave D.
