Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

The last time I went ice-skating, I broke my hand, how typical of me huh?  So if I was in the country, I’d definitely be a bystander, however, I would not want to miss this simply for the scenario. Until the 8th of January 2012, The National History Museum have a 1000 metre-square outdoor ice rink and is definitely a highlight in our London Christmas season.  The  museum provides this beautiful backdrop while money is very well spent on thousands of fairy lights; I mean, what is Christmas without fairylights huh?

Like I said, I’d be the spectator, watching everyone slip and fall with some hot chocolate or even some mulled wine from the balcony café or bar that overlooks the ice.  Taking pictures with my Iphone and tweeting about any eye candy I see.  The Café Bar is open daily until 22.00. It’s open to non-skaters too and is an essential stop during your visit to the Ice Rink and as well as serving food on the inside, there is a stall that sells food and drinks for the people who are brave enough to skate.
