Fossil held their press day over at the Covent Garden hotel where they unveiled a strong collections featuring key items for the spring/summer season of 2012. The collection featured the usual men’s leather pieces- wallets and passport holders but also a few pleasant additions. Find out what the leather giant have on offer for next year after the break.

As ever the men’s leather accessories are back, passport holders, wallets and shave kits. I say it all the time but Fossil leather products are always good value, top quality leather and affordable prices. The shave kits are something I hadn’t seen at previous press days, they come in a rich dark brown or a black. Featuring a sturdy frame, both functional and sleek, with a wide zip pouch opens for easy access.
Another new piece for the Spring/Summer season next year includes checkered print wallets, I usually like their plain leather goods but I like this print, it’s like geek fashion but it’s quite stylish if you like checks and again it’s affordable. Check out Fossil latest range of wallets here.
One item that stood out for me was the navy canvas bag. It comes as a side/messenger bag as well as a work brief in a navy and a light brown colour. A trendy army inspired piece, the buckles as well as Fossil’s signature minimal branding on the front of the bag make it the perfect finish for a casual smart ensemble. The bag also comes in a rich brown leather, a more sophisticated/smarter option purely because it’s leather and also because it looks a little more expensive that the navy. It also comes in the same print as the checkered wallet but it’s not available to us in the UK which is a big shame!
Anyway, though sporting a slim line design, the bag seemed quite spacious inside and I could picture all the essentials i.e. mac, camera, diary etc… safely tucked away in a well padded interior. You can view Fossil’s current range of bags here.
Finally, the watches for this season are quite simple; they’ve taken the ceramic watches and added some crystals to their faces for good measure. Ceramics are always a good one for the summer, particularly for the ladies so if you needed some gift inspiration, there you go!
Now these black watches with the flamboyant faces.. I really like the chronograph dial and the infusion of the colour like red and black with the silver. However I think the colour around the outside of the face is a little bit too much bling and so for that reason I would opt for the black. Saying that, they feel very well built and very comfortable to wear. You can view their current selection of watches here… for now I’ll leave you with more photos.
