It’s been quite some time since my last Shoulda Woulda Coulda post so for all those who may have forgotten and those who are new to the site, this post is where I select a song that I feel should have been or should be released by an artist because I feel that it could and would have done well in the charts. Granted sometimes I do pick songs that I know probably wouldn’t have blown up in the charts but personally love the track and therefore warrants a place in this post. For today’s SWC I have selected a song from Nicki Minaj taken off her Pink Friday album. See what song after the cut.

‘Save Me’ is a song that I feel would appeal to both Minaj’s core urban fans as well as her newly accumulated commercial pop fans. Showing off her singing skills, Minaj showcases her talent for writing songs on top of her talent for writing catchy raps. She has previously stated that she enjoys writing songs and has written pop songs for other artists. Have a listen below.
