Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

I’ve been slacking on the blog this week. Mainly because my job has taken priority and these past 2 weeks have been killer. I’ve found myself managing a big account’s campaigns, never expected that to happen so soon but definitely a learning curve. I probably learnt more in the fortnight than I ever did it at university. OKAY DIGRESSED a little bit, this post is about a concept shop in LA that my friend put me onto way back in August. In fact, I spotted him wearing one of the accessories first and asked where he got it from. They’re nothing too fancy but a great addition to any outfit. A little bit of personalisation goes a long way. Continues after the cut.

The founders of FourTwoFour on Fairfax came together in the spirit of collaborative creativity to have a place to feature cutting edge ideas in design be it fashion, lifestyle, and art without limitations. Creating a space that evokes a feeling of the turn of the century meets the future, a salon inspired by cities like Paris and New York, crash landing in LA.

These nicely crafted pins all cost around $45 each and they are actually made to attach to your sneakers. Like my friend, I’d use it to accessorise some of my garments. Especially with some of my simpler blazers (no not the Nike kicks) to give it a little bit of personality. Each Sneaker Crowns is hand crafted shoe accessory – everything from the hand drawn sketches to hand carve waxes, to the solid bronze and silver castings are completed with the finest finishes. I WANT SOME.
