Not too long ago we introduced you to the first ever Converse Bags and Accessories Collection (see here). Today we take a closer look at one of the pieces from that inaugural collection, the Converse Duffle Bag. As ever we have taken to the streets to conduct our own photography, see how the shoot turned out after the cut.

Brand History
Converse have been making rubber sole footwear since 1908 when Marquis Mills Converse opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. Since then the brand have gone on to build and become a fully established and reputable footwear manufacturing company. Having conquered the footwear market the brand now see fit that its time to enter into new territory to keep the expansion of the brand going. Hence the production of their first Bag and Accessory Collection.
The Shoot
So we took to the streets of London to review the bag. Yang as ever with his vain self volunteered to be the model, I’m sure he thinks he is signed to Premier or something lol. We had to stuff the bag to bring it to life in the pictures but by doing this we kind of made it look a little like a bomb, especially when myself and Yang stepped away from the bag in a suspicious manner and left Yin fiddling with it.
Thoughts
If I’m to be completely honest we were left a little disappointed. I personally feel that the bag is definitely a step in the right direction however the materials used did not match my expectations. I understand that canvas is more of a traditional trademark for the brand however had the bag been leather I believe it would have given it that quality appeal. Hopefully that will come in future collections, that being said I do have high hopes for the black and white version of this bag as it wouldn’t get as dirty as this particular colourway.
This type of bag is perfect for those who love to go to the gym. I definitely will be purchasing the black one for my gym gear, although I need to sign up to a gym first lol.
