This week the sensational visuals dropped for Blu‘s first single, “My Sunshine” from his highly-anticipated “No York” album shot by Aaronisnotcool. The Californian native, Blu is high on the list of any Hip Hop lovers favourite rappers, and is best known for his 2007 album, “Below the Heavens” which lead him to being named as one of XXL mag’s “Top Freshmen of 2009“. Peep the video after the cut.

Since then the rapper’s fans have been anxiously waiting for the release of new material, this year in particular hype blew up around April onwards when the tracklist dropped for his major label debut, “No York” which featured Pac Div, Jack Davey, U-N-I (who have now split up?!) and Wu-Tang member, U-God. The dreamy visuals were shot in Los Angeles, Blu‘s home and fit perfectly to singer, Nia Andrews‘ beautiful voice. Remember last week when I mentioned Hip-Hop/R&B collaborations in a semi-negative manner, well this is a sound example of a good one!
