Yesterday Yin and I got ourselves down to Cube PR’s showroom to check out new bits from Spanish brand Medwinds. I love that the brand is all about saving money and cutting unnecessary costs such as paying for space on shelves in stores- means they can afford to sell their clothing for less thus deeming them more affordable. The quality of the clothing is also really impressive, 100% premium cotton- the jumpers in the photos below are a great example of really good quality cotton. On the whole the collection looks fresh and plain… however it’s too plain as I felt like there should have been more; would have been nice to see a little bit more colour and variation in the collection. The brand would be competing with the likes of GAP and Uniqlo if it were to be on the same scale business wise. However I do appreciate the subtleness and focus in the quality of the collection- they also have some nice shirts and shoes plus the lookbook for this collection is immense!
