Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

This is the first time I have liked a Louis Vuitton clothing collection as I usually find them quite bland and transitional, aside from their bags and footwear which are grade A. Their spring/summer 2012 collection has slightly changed my opinion of the designer: I love how they dabbled in the sportswear pond and incorporated this into a sophisticated everyday feel along with suave tailoring, a neutral colour palette and impressive bags & accessories. My favourite piece from the collection has to be the brown and navy Varsity Jacket. I like how the arms are fabric and the panels are leather because it’s more appropriate to dress up. The leather also looks very rich and I love the pattern- the gold buttons are a cool finishing touch. I generally really like the look in that particular photo, good display of how they’ve experimented with a light street influence. Check out the rest of the collection below.
