Spotted this on the way back to the station from City Road. I want to live in this area, the studio apartments on City Road = DOOOPE. Perfect bachelor’s pad. The kids from Islington College will probably irritate me but you get them all around London. The infamous money bandits TFL restored this 100+ year clock by famous clock and watchmakers, John Smith & Sons. ‘The clock was originally wound daily by hand, but some time later an electrical winding mechanism was installed, with Smith footing the bill’. Could you imagine doing that on a daily basis?
