Ed Sheeran launched his competition yesterday, one that could you win you a ‘house gig‘ for up to 20 friends. To win this intimate prize, all you have to do is film yourself performing what you think the opening act for the house gig should be and then upload it to Ed’s facebook wall! The winner will be decided next Thursday 19th May (sigh, the day we’re done with uni) as the competition will close this Sunday 15th May. The gig will be on Monday 23rd so only enter if you and your home are free that day! More info after the cut.

Right so I’m going to run a competition for you to win a house gig for you and 20 friends, here’s what I want you to do…
I’m gonna stream this gig live on uStream so I want you to dress up you’re front room to how it’ll look for the gig and then film yourselves performing what you think the opening act should be, this could be anything from your party trick to you and your mates singing ‘The A-Team’.
Once you’ve filmed it upload it to YouTube and then post it on my Facebook wall, I’ll then pick the winner and announce it next Thursday 19th May, sound good?
For instance, I know it’s a bit odd, but my party trick is fitting 43 malteasers in my mouth, so get imaginative with it!
Also the gig would be on Monday 23rd May in the early evening so please don’t enter if you can’t do it, and if it’s not your house get permission first. Oh and make sure you’ve got a good internet connection at the house or the uStream won’t work.
