Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

Not going to lie, I’ve put on a bit of weight since the start of this final semester at university. It’s been stressful and there have been many days like today where I’ve literally just sat on one chair for 18 hours+ with minimal movement, well odd toilet trip, food and walk around room to keep bones moving but other than that I’ve been glued to the seat. I finish Thursday and I’ve already planned to get into jogging mode on Saturday. However I don’t have running shoes, all my Nike’s are far too nice and not made for jogging. So checked out JD Sport’s Nike shoes section. More on the reverse.

Nike Pegasus ’83 at JD Sports

Trust, you’re probably thinking ‘OMG he shops in JD’ and what? I need running shoes, who’s going to go running in £150 Jordans? #whatkindafoolishness. Remember I’m going to jog, not to show off my sneakers at the park. The Nike Pegasus 83 model first made an appearence in surprise, surprise…1983. It’s one of Nike’s most famous sneakers and one that’s primarily worn by sporty individuals. Unlike the Jordans, Air Maxs and Blazers which are now most wanted in the urban fashion world. The Pegasus features a lightweight upper of mesh and leather/suede – with the classsic Swoosh branding on the side panels. I’ve picked out the follow 3 -

Nike Pegasus ’83 – Concord/Wolf Grey/White/Black – £69.99

Nike Pegasus ’83 - Obsidian/Wolf – £54.99

Nike Pegasus ’83 – Obsidian/Tech Grey – £69.99

Hmm they are still a little pricey but I don’t mind spending £70 on a comfy pair of shoes to go jogging. I’d rather use these than my NikeID Kobe IV’s. No way am I ruining those one-off kicks and those are my only ‘sporty‘ looking sneakers. Now to decide on a pair to buy, I’ll give myself a few days…
