Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

Canterbury was founded in 1905 in the New Zealand province of Canterbury (Nahh!). It was not until 2011 that Niran ‘Yin‘ Vinod had discovered the All Blacks brand that primarily takes its inspiration from the country’s sporting heritage. You can see this with the iconic badges and vintage detailing throughout the collection. You know what? Talking in the 3rd person is a new level of narcissism that I should cut out. Back to the collection, it definitely reminds me of Ralph Lauren. There clearly is American Ivy League influences in there somewhere, more images and info on the reverse.

Key items this season include the Canterbury classic sweat, Varsity jacket, chinos, shorts and patterned shirts. Much of the Canterbury Lifestyle range features the subtle kiwi logo branded colourfully on the chest, but some pieces also feature a crest badge design that adds an authentic touch to the garment and reinforces Canterbury’s heritage. Check out more of the images below, I must say I love the styling and presentation of this lookbook. It’s very simple photography but clean and crisp. Sometimes that’s all you need! I’ve inserted a gallery and all you have to do is click one for the light box to pop up and just browse through. As easy as that.

P.S. Expect a Y&Y review shoot for Canterbury real soon. All Saints one is coming! I just haven’t gotten around to editing the photographs yet. Next Sunday (22nd) it’ll be up, I promise.
