Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

Feeling creative but don’t know what to do with your creativity? Why don’t you try out one of Shin Tanaka‘s character inspired C-Myk templates and papers. All you have to do is download and print one of the designs off this website and get colouring in with pens and paper. You guys are invited to upload your most colourful creations to the website and Facebook for the world to see and pick out their favourites. A panel of design leaders in Paris will then hand pick a few of the very best ones to go on display at Arjowiggins Creative Papers VIP Gallery at D&AD‘s New Blood Exhibition in London. More information on how to get involved on the reverse.

Major designers worldwide will receive a ColoursAttack pack in March 2011 with C-Myk templates and papers to play with but all of oyu are welcome to get involved. The creator Shin Tanaka’s character was originally inspired by Japan’s popular street culture where those little kawai toys are a reflection of their owners creative personality. I’m sure you’ve all come across those little toys, all the Japanese streetwear brands make them. The crazy dynamic shape and explosion of colour, C-Myk resembles a diamond. It’s a Sunday, I’m sure most of you don’t have much to do today…why not give these a go? I picked out some of my favourites from the site.
