Yin posted the trailer for this a long while ago but a film never came of it, instead the new plan was to split the Kevin Tancharoen directed motion sequence into a digital mini series. It seems Kevin has completely altered Mortal Kombat‘s original theme of supernatural/fantasy and implemented a more contemporary and dramatic route. I just watched the first episode last night and I absolutely love it even though I would have liked to have seen more of the original plot with some of the main characters. However it’s early days yet, this was but the first episode so there is time; to be honest this is great because both the previous Mortal Kombat films weren’t very good to say the least, the first film was bad but the second film was just tragic!
