Everynone creative agency teamed up RadioLab to create this incredible video showcasing the world’s deep symmetries. This is easily one of the most well put together videos I have ever come across, it’s striking. Everynone plays with our yearning needs for balance and reveals how beautifully imperfect some of the symmetrical matches can be. I’m in awe, it’s so simple but amazing? Watch it on the reverse. I geeked out and embedded both youtube and vimeo videos.

Outside UEL‘s docklands campus. I took this on Wednesday, spent most of Thursday night/Friday morning up in the library here. Fortunately I slept through whole royal wedding kerfuffle but have felt like sh*t the whole day due to the lack of sleep. Really should put more effort into this post but I have a 10,000 word dissertation to write. It’s getting real now. May 19th.

During our overnight library visit I took numerous breaks which resulted in me window shopping online and I came across these bags on asos that I think are quite cool. Quite simply named the ‘ASOS canvas backback‘ they’re available in three colours: mustard, khaki and black- khaki featured in the leading photo for this post is also my preferred colour. The stylish rucksack is made from canvas material, featuring outer cargo pockets, leather look straps with buckle fastenings, a drawstring tie to the top and adjustable shoulder strap and it’s only £35. They look good but I wonder about quality… click on the bags after the cut for more info.

Wahaca was one of the first restaurant reviews we conducted last year and still my favourite one of them all. I think I’ve been to Wahaca about 20 times since, their chicken tinga burrito is somewhat heavenly. I can never say no to good food! and that’s what they offer, GOOD FOOD. It’s my easily my favourite Mexican restaurant in London. We’ve teamed up with them to offer ya’ll a chance to win a MEAL FOR TWO and a round of margaritas at their Covent Garden restaurant. All you have to do is answer a simple question on the reverse.

All those that follow me on Twitter will know that I’m not a fan of this Royal Wedding malarkey and this will probably be the ONLY post on the topic unless the ‘Royal’ Family decide to come out all GQ‘d. Then I might just have to do an outfit breakdown/style post on it. Our friends over at Unruly Media have teamed up with Grey London Films to create this funny message for the future King & Queen. It’s definitely one of a kind! Stig’s rhyming and wordplay has always been hilarious, do you remember the way he dissed Asher D at Jumpoff a few years ago? Killa Kela kills it with the wedding themed beatboxing. Hop on after the cut for the video.

As an Interior Design student, it’s important to know how design decisions can have an impact on the environment. It’s not just about making a space look pretty, but more about providing a space that will provide a positive effect on people, the built environment and nature. I’ve recently become part of the Sponge team, which actively works towards promoting awareness of sustainable design, and last week Earth Day reminded everyone the importance of taking care of our environment and how we can all do our part. Have a look at EcoCentric which offers a range of beautifully designed environmentally friendly products and presents opportunities through good design to reduce your carbon footprint. Particularly fond of this Cork iPad Sleeve and the Grow Your Own range.

Take over Isadora
Nothing like waking up after a good night’s sleep and the gorgeous morning sun kissing your skin through your window. Sigh. What makes it an even better morning is waking up to all the media news! First major topic that’s been blasting the headlines early this morning is the recent trailer release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 or as the French would say it deux! Now I must say I’m not particularly a fan of the Harry Potter movie series, mostly because I feel the series started going downhill after the third movie.
