Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

Continuing their  ‘We are Animals’ series, Wrangler have definitely proved their point, these guys are not happy with generic photoshoots on plain white background.. I thought it would have been a real challenge to top their last campaign but they’ve done it anyways with their most shocking campaign so far STUNT. More after the cut.

The STUNT campaign as it’s fittingly called, sees actual Hollywood stuntmen performing bone-crushing stunts whilst American photographer Cass Bird gets snap happy! I would say a very dramatic but interesting way to showcase clothing but then the last few campaigns have been just as theatrical. At the launch I stood wide-eyed at each shot, they look incredible, photographer did a fantastic job as did the stunt men who put their bodies/lives at risk…probably everyday.

In terms of originality there are two fashion brands that are doing it for me and that’s Diesel and Wrangler delivering unique campaign after unique campaign. STUNT really proves that the brand is all about durability, adrenaline pumping, acting and acting on instincts, which supports the ‘We are Animals’ message.

I only have one thing against this campaign, while this might make for some amazing visuals I think it could possibly be slightly distracting to watch. I wonder if people will pay attention to the clothing, because ideally the campaign is supposed to showcase the clothing and make people aware of new and key pieces in the collection.. I don’t get that from this because the photos are so theatrical. Perhaps this is what the brand is going for, well either way it must be working because this is the third campaign for ‘We Are Animals’

Watch a video of the making of the campaign, it looks like these guys had an amazing time shooting this!
