It’s been a long time coming but they say the best things come to those who wait. Never one to be shy and reserved Jessie J had lots to say when we had the pleasure of meeting her. Since the actual recording of the interview she has gone onto have a #2 hit with her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ and scored first UK #1 with the infectious ‘Price Tag’. It just goes to show that we have an eye for spotting and supporting great talent. So without further ado I give you Yin&Yang meets Jessie J the interview, check it out on the flipside.

Yin – We’ve had camera/sound issues. You can tell from the edit, it’s got nothing to do with the editor. First ever interview, didn’t know how good the microphone was on both cameras. Lesson learned straight away, the Yasmin interview we used a separate sound kit. Chyea.
Jessie J is a beast. She has role model qualities and her lyrics are REAL. You won’t find any of that S&M business in her album, all talent here and lyrics we can relate to. What she said about alcohol, drugs etc was one of the reasons I quit drinking back in November. I haven’t felt so good.
