I should have written this post yesterday but university work got the better of me. As always university work comes first, always. I know I tend to put Y&Y first most of the time but I’ve learnt my lesson. 2 posts a day from now on. Anyway Superbowl took place the other night, don’t ask me about NFL – I have no clue. Plus the whole Football/Soccer thang annoys me, what we play here is football. Ya’ll play some weird form of handball that requires body armour. Haha. They always have the best adverts and movie trailers – the best ones of course were the Marvel movies – Captain America, Thor & Transformers 3. Peep them and the rest on the reverse.

I’ll start off with Transformers 3. The first film in the series without the sexy Megan Fox but I’m not complaining! She’s been replaced by Victoria’s Secret angel, Rosie Huntington-Whitley. Hot damn. We finally get to see her in the trailer which is bonkers. It’s a lot more darker, you don’t really see much other than Optimus going H.A.M. on some enemies. Woah.
I’ve been excited for this next film for a decade or so. Captain America was always one of my favourites because represents the pinnacle of human physical perfection. It’s achievable, well with a few science experiments here and there as you can see in this trailer. If anyone knows anything about that surgery, hit me up. I can’t be arsed to go gym.
P.S. Don’t you find it funny that the Human Torch is Captain America as well?
I wasn’t that excited for this film when I heard about it or when I saw the trailer but it’s Marvel. So I’m most definitely going to enjoy the film. The action sequences look bad ass, the graphics! and Natalie Portman is a pleasant sight. No complaints about a potentially poor storyline.
Bleugh. Another Fast and Furious film, nothing new apart from the fact it’s being shot in Brazil. Oh and the Rock is the good bad guy. It should be interesting to see him chase Vin Diesel and Paul Walker through the favelas wanting to Rock bottom them.
First time seeing anything about this new film ‘Super 8′ by Abrams and Spielberg. The trailer doesn’t really give much away but looks like another aliens vs humans film. Well kids this time around + unidentified creature attacking the kid and his family. This what trailers should be like! some trailers give away the WHOLE storyline.
To be honest the last Pirates of the Carribean film was whackness. I actually fell asleep at the cinema for the first time ever, even Jack Sparrow‘s comedic self couldn’t keep me awake. 3 hours of pirates and weird sea creatures was a bore. This looks funny but I hope it’s not that long.
Little round-up of the rest: Rango, Cowboys & Aliens, Limitless, Rio, The Adjustment Bureau, Just Go With It, Priest and Battle: Los Angeles.
