Ya’ll already know that I have big love for minimalist design. In my opinion, simplicity is always effective. I don’t ever overdo things with design/style anymore, well at least I try not to. Just look at the site’s design, it’s simple if you think about it. American illustrator Michael Myers just does that with his work and this time he’s recreated some of the DC comics superheroes. They’re minimalist but you can easily identify the characters. This set of illustrations contains Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman & Green Arrow. I love how he’s captured the key features and shapes of each of the heroes to make them identifiable even though the first set don’t have their eyes, noses and mouths. Who has been watching Young Justice? DC Comics latest cartoon, I think it’s the best yet from them. More work after the cut.
