2 days ago I was lucky enough to go to Cassette Playa‘s Fall/Winter LFW showcase at BFC Showspace in Somerset House. For someone who’s a fashion insider, it was my first ever time attending a catwalk show at the famous home of London Fashion Week. It was quite an experience to be honest, I wasn’t expecting to be surrounded by folks who would put Lady Gaga to shame. The worst one was a guy in a long orange dress, blonde weave and a fake LATEX mask. Yeh, talk about taking individuality a little too seriously. Moving on, designer Carri Munden gives us another collection full of graphic prints, patterns, metallics and vibrant colours. Continues on the reverse.

The colour palette ranges from gold, black, purple, red and blues. It’s not my usual cup of tea – the collection features a variety of outwear: leather motorcycle jackets, varsity letterman jackets, duffel coats and lavenham quilted jackets. I personally wouldn’t wear most of the collection as it doesn’t fit in with my personal style but you can definitely appreciate Carri’s design work. It’s really well put together. The show was dope! any show playing Cam’ron, Lil Wayne and others will always get my praises haha.
