There’s two things I want to talk about in the post, first off is Sigerson Morrison’s wonderful Fall/Winter 2010 collection and second are Anna Higgie’s beautiful drawings used as visuals for the Belle collection. They have a number of eye catching items such as the soft chic Manhattan Sac in red python (£800) and the matching petite clutch (£377) that are just so sexy. Match that with their super soft deep cuff High Heel Bootie and you’ve got yourself a kick ass outfit. The new Belle collection is very sleek and uses edgy shapes that I’ve never seen in shoe design before. More after the cut.

They’re very feminine and extremely desirable. They remind me of the type of shoes a Disney princess would wear, in the winter that is. I can’t wait for the day I can afford such beautifully crafted shoes but until that day I guess I can still admire them from afar.

That brings me onto the visual art for the Belle collection created by Anna Higgie. I have always shown a fondness towards art. Like this one time my friends and I visited the Tate Modern Art Gallery in London and I swear I stood at this one painting for about 20 minutes just looking at every dimension, observing every colour, and trying to find the deeper meaning to what was obviously being portrayed. I love it when I stumble across other fashion blogs and the bloggers are aspiring fashionistas and artists who sketch their own designs. I think it’s a wonderful talent to be able to express yourself in that way, that’s why I really appreciated Anna’s drawings for the Belle Collection. I did a little searching and found her blog full of amazing pictures, check it out.
