Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

It’s press days galore at the moment, we were lucky enough to be invited to the three stripe sportswear giant’s showroom on Langley Street the other day to browse through their upcoming collections – sportswear, sneakers, Jeremy Scott, Stella McCartney, Y-3 and various other collections by the brand. It’s funny Adidas are one of the biggest brands out there for sneakers but right now, I only own one pair. One of the classic superstar models is what I have, not the chavy ones – it’s suede and it got ruined a few years back by the rain *sighs* Peep the collections on the flipside.

Sportswear

This what everyone knows the brand for, their classic sportswear implemented with the most modern thermal technology and material. I’ve known of all the Climacool tech for a long time now but really didn’t know the level of research they do to produce it. It’s quite crazy how much detail they go into and how  light the products are now. The f-50 football boot is scarily lightweight -  in fact I questioned one of the staff on how dangerous it is for footballers. We’ve had so many broken bones situations in the past few years so imagine going in studs up into the foot of a rival. The guy told me that it’s now all about lightweight technology as it boosts performance. Peep the photographs below.

They have also got the NBA jersey licences for the very first time. Go HEAT!

Jeremy Scott + Other Adidas Sneakers & Collection

Ahh this guy and his avant garde sneakers. They just got more and more ridiculous each year and this time he’s incorporated teddy bears into them. I featured them a few weeks back on the site: click here. Strangely enough, I quite like them. They look overly comfy, if it were in slipper form I would be more than happy to rock them at home. The other highlights include the sneakers with the bow ribbon tongue, I haven’t got a close up of them unfortunately but ya’ll can peep it in the photograph with my lady friend standing in the corner.

The rest of the collections

Here’s a random group of photographs from the rest of the collections. Most from the S/S 2011 range for Adidas’s more up market range, Y-3. I dig it! and apparently the weird neckbrace thang Yang was part of the catwalk show. Haha. I’m definitely feeling the leather gloves for the ladies.
