Sneaker Con is the biggest sneaker convention every year in New York City which provides you the chance get to meet and interact with people as well as buy, sell, and trade kicks. What’s even better about the event is that you get the opportunity to see some of the dopest kicks ever known to man. Sneaker Con showcases over 40 vendors with sponsorship from adidas Originals. I should have posted this a few months back and even applied for press but things got busy! I only noticed it in my diary today. Yikes. Hyper Japan is a brand new event which celebrates Japanese pop culture, it’ll be held at the Truman Brewery on 1-3 October. Now this is an advent calendar I’d like to open. Porsche have unveiled their ultra modern and ultra expensive interpretation of an advent calendar. The sleek piece is to be sold at 1 million USD and with only 1 per continent being sold. It most definitely takes place as the world’s most expensive advent calendar with the treats behind each date unfathomable to most. Here we have male model Simon Nessman modelling Spanish luxury leather goods brand Loewe in these pictures taken from their 2011 Spring/Summer lookbook. The release of some of these items is expected at the beginning of next year. The garments in the photos are clean simple and made with great quality and have been purposely matched with complementing accessories to enhance the appearance of their leather goods. The white and grey bag that has been paired with the shorts and pink jumper is most definitely an eye catcher. Check it and the other accessories out for yourself after the cut.

You may have noticed that I don’t write many personal posts, in fact this might be my first one, but I think I will make more of an effort to fill you guys in on the happenings in my life. First off let me start by reiterating the post’s title Karma Is A Bitch. Over the last couple of weeks I have had time off work due to “sickness” if I am honest I most definitely gone back to work after the first couple of days but my doctor signed me off for two weeks so I wasn’t about to pass up that opportunity. But now the time has come and my return to work is imminent (today @ 5 is my next shift) however I have come down with the flu and I seriously feel like shit (for real this time). What do I do? Even though Yin, Yang and I all study the same course at Uni (Creative Advertising) I never actually pay great attention adverts as much as I should. If you noticed majority of the Adspiration posts are written by Yin but today I feel like changing it up. The Saab 9-5 advert caught my eye earlier today simply because it wasn’t boring. I think with car adverts it is quite easy to go down the boring route, explaining the technicalities of the vehicle but this ad is bright and fun. Also the editing is dope, very seamless and unforced. Check it out for yourself.

Yup. This is in London, Greenwich to be precise. Can you believe it? It looks more like a scene out of Smallville.
