A few weeks ago I posted about this eatery situated in Soho (on Broadwick Street to be precise). Today I present to you further information on this fast growing establishment in preparation for a competition which I will post at the start of next week. Read on for more details on Food Secret and the upcoming competition here at Y&Y.

Myself and Yin took ourselves down to Soho to have a meeting with their account manager. During this time we talked about the pending competition whilst soaking up the atmosphere and surroundings. We were there early enough to witness the lunch time rush which, although is very busy, dosen’t at all feel like it is crowded or packed out. In fact the place still held a very calming atmosphere even during those rush hour moments.
The Atmosphere
This calming atmosphere is probably due to mood lighting and the placement of greenery within the tables. With the added bonus of having free Wi-Fi I can definitely see that it would be a good place to sit down out of office and do some work. I also spotted a few work meetings going on which confirms my evaluation of the establishment of having a calm and surprisingly quite atmosphere.
People & Price
It may seem that Food Secret is only aimed towards the office clientele however this is an untrue theory. If you are to imagine Pret A Manger but healthier and much more classy but still very price competitive. This is what Food Secret is. Speaking on the price, it is actually very reasonable and well within the price range of its competitors which I quite remarkable considering the added value you get when purchasing from FS.
What makes it special?
One key factor which differentiates Food Secret from similar food outlets is the fact that they place nutritional information on each meal including meals which are tailor made to the customer. In addition this information is also printed on each receipt. The technology used to do such a thing is patented and is exclusive to the store.
Currently the store on Broadwick street is the only one of its kind however plans to open more stores is in the very near future.
The Competition
We have a Food Secret loyalty card topped up with enough money to get a substantial meal and drink for one lucky winner. The competition will run from the start of next week and this is when the questions and info on how to enter will be revealed. Until then keep checking the site, read our other posts and have a good day!
