Now we all know that technology has come along way but could we have ever imagined a time when making movies, adverts and music videos with just a mobile phone became the norm. Well with the new iPhone 4 that time has arrived. A couple of students from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Michael Koerbel and Anna Elizabeth James, have written and directed an entire movie – well a short film called “Apple of My Eye” using the newest incarnation of the iPhone series as the camera and editing device all within a 48 hour time frame. View the short film and behind the scenes footage after the cut.

To my surprise this film is actually very well put together with a quality that could rival many of the budget video cameras currently in the market. This just goes to show that with a little creativity and resourcefulness anything is possible (excuse the optimistic parental tone of that last sentence lol, but its true).
