Apple’s new iPhone 4 has officially done the unthinkable. When I say unthinkable I mean adding DSLR lens. For those who are probably thinking “What the hell is a DSLR lens?” DSLR Lens is smaller than a frame of 35mm film, so only a portion of the image that passes through the lens is captured by the sensor. In basic translation they are film gauges which are used for chemical still photography and motion pictures. More after cut.

The iPhone 4 features digital zoom, a LED flash, and the capacity to create HD video at 30-fps. The iPhone 4 has a 5-megapixel camera which is a tad played out compared to the HTC’s Evo 4G, which has an 8-megapixel camera. This gadget is perfect for the travelling photographer who’s not into carry tons of equipment. So far there is no word on the availability of the lens.
