I fail when it comes to finding time to write this post on a weekly basis. Mainly because of the lack of music I download these days, I don’t download on a daily basis like I used to. However my iTunes does have 15,077 songs and I have listened to all the songs, fact. I’m starting off with Bruno Mars first single off his debut record. This song got over 40 plays from me yesterday, it’s that gooood.

Next up a few new cuts from Drizzy Drake. I’m loving both of these tracks. He’s got one of the best flows in my opinion, it’s easy to listen and understand. The first track is off a new mixtape and the 2nd is a full version of his verse on Rick Ross‘s Aston Martin Music.

My favourite singer Trey Songz is back with a 2 cuts off his upcoming album. I’m quite disappointed with both these songs, they just seem average to me. ‘Bottoms Up’ with Nicki Minaj is awful, way too commercial. ‘I Want You’ is a solid effort but nowhere near as good as the slow-jams we heard on ‘Ready‘

I sincerely hope ‘Bottoms Up‘ is a buzz single because it’s whack.

I can’t wait for this guy’s album. He’s one of my favourite artists so far 2010, I like the fact that he’s real honest in his lyrics. Jay-Z’s latest protegé is set to drop his album later this summer. This is apparently one of the cuts off it, the production is insane and his punchline flow is dope. Let’s not compare him to Drake, they have different subject matter within their lyrics and a different styles. I hope he gets the promo he deserves as this album will be epic. The album is going to kill the game, premeditated murder.
