I’m sure we’ve posted about the Creators Project event that’s taking place this year all over the world. We were lucky to be invited to the London event on Saturday which took place at Victoria House. The project consists of visual artists, fashion designers and music artists showcasing their talent.

We headed fairly early in the day to check out the Art Exhibition; most of which was very interactive. Me being the alcoholic that I am asked for free drinks at 3pm, only to get turned down by the barmen: “alcohol only served after 6″. I made sure that we got there at 6:01. We bumped into a few friends from the LDN blogosphere like Kayta & inFormed London dudes.
Anyway swaying back on to the topic of the art. The interactive setups included movement controlled light boxes, face scanners, 8-bit games and my favourite a slow motion camera. The middle of the room stood a vertical LCD screen with a camera above it and lights on either side of it. It recorded us and every 10 seconds or so it replayed it back to us in slow motion. The lighting was PERFECT, so perfect that Yang spent most of the night checking himself out. There were also an augmented reality show from Cassette Playa, it was weird. I did not like.
Later on the music acts came on, some next screamo band, Mark Ronson and Kele Okereke of Bloc Party. The last 2 killed their sets, we left for the night bus before Tinchy Stryder came on. Check out my photos of the night.
