T.I.‘s latest music video of his new album features clips from the upcoming movie, Takers. It’s one of those action chick-flicks, I say chickflick because of the cast. It’s one of those casts that if you take your chick to the film, she’ll obviously forget you exist. However the poster makes me cringe, Chris Brown with a beard looking like a wifebeater, Paul Walker and T.I‘s overly big photoshopped heads, Hayden Christensen with his Dr.Who/Clockwork Orange swagger and Idris, well he looks O.G. The film doesn’t look half bad. From the video it looks like Ocean’s 11 meets Fast and Furious.
‘Takers,’ directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
