Seeing as I’m unemployed this summer, I find myself having a lot more free time and a lot less money. I’ve tried to make my use of the time and invest it in a fashion-related project. Some of my friends know bits and pieces about it but In fact a few people who I barely know have enquired about it, you know the whole ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’ deal. Nosey peeps! Flip the lid for some details.

The-Dream just decided to drop trilogy of videos in a day; all 3 songs (Yamaha, Nikki Pt.2, Abyss) are from his latest record ‘Love King‘ which dropped legally yesterday. The funny thing is I featured 2 of the songs in this video-medley in Eargasms as they’re my favourite off the album. The videos aren’t anything special, even feels like he’s trying too hard but I do like how they’re shot, concepts-wise meh. Enjoy the music and go buy the album. It’s by far his best since his first, video after the cut.

Definitely the best skater video I’ve ever seen. Spanish-born Skateboarder Killian Martin is like no other skater I’ve seen, in fact I don’t think I could recreate half these tricks in a Tony Hawk’s game. Insane board control. Ya’ll definitely need to watch the video on the flipside.

Politically outspoken, in your face, dance/electronic musician M.I.A. is out with a new single called “Teqkilla“. With M.I.A. making news lately with her in video “Born Free” and brutally honest nature. With this single she goes back to the electric/dance sound that everyone is used to hearing. The record appears on her upcoming album /\/\/\Y/\ which is set to be released on July 13th. The album was inspired by death threats to her son Ikhyd, after the artist criticized the Sri Lankan government. Listen to the track after the cut.

The Wireless ticket giveaways competitions have come to a close. My phone has been vibrating constantly the past few days thanks to all the emails and now a random winner has been selected from the 100s of entries. I’ve had people trying to bribe me, buy tickets off me and even girls offering to do anything for these tickets! madness. I don’t know how at least 20 people managed to pick the wrong answer, all you had to do was check Roc-Nation’s Wikipedia page. Winner announced after the cut.

On Saturday Yang and I went to the Clothes Show London in Earl’s Court, which was absolutely spectacular. It was without a doubt the ultimate girls day out. There were so many different brands to choose from and the discounts were crazy. It was the perfect day to indulge yourself with some DKNY jewellery and other designer clothes and accessories.

London Docklands, the heart of the business centre in the city. It’s what we can refer to as our finance district, the skyscrapers are compared to those in New York but we’re getting there. I don’t often go there as it’s just full of people in suits! it’s a good place to go for a few drinks with a lady friend by the river *tip*.
