Teyana Taylor (of My Super Sweet Sixteen fame) has hooked up with Mijo, Braxton and Ethan to form a new rock band, the band goes by the name of UGLY: U-nderneath G-reatness L-yes Y-ou, a clever name if I do say so myself. The group plan to release their new single titled ‘Wasted’ this summer. Hear a snippet of what sounds like a really dope track after the cut.

Things haven’t exactly blown up for Teyana as a solo artist (remember ‘Google Me’) considering she is signed to Star Trak (Pharrell Williams label). Many people probably would have expected her to do well automatically since she is and has friends with many people in the music industry, most noticeably her friendship with Chris Brown, however this has not been the case.
She can sing, she can dance and she has a great fashion sense. An individual style which can only really be describe as dope! The song ‘Wasted’ although very different to her debut single still manages to be believable and compliment her style. After listening to the snippet I have a good feeling that this could lead to something big for the band and expose Teyana to the commercial success she deserves.
