New York is apparently a fashion capital but after walking around the city for a week or so I fail to understand why. Yes it has real dope fashion stores on 5th Ave and Soho but the people there cannot dress for sh*t. No offence but 90% of people there look like they were dressed by their mamas, no sense of style what so ever. Albeit that, I did manage to find a few folks who did have a pretty cool sense of style. Hipsters pretty much dominated the scene over there though, more after the cut.

Specimen A in the image above didn’t want his face to be shown on the interweb and with a face like his, I’m not surprised. I joke. I’m a little jealous of his kicks and how he’s swagged out in Louis Vuitton. The oversized BAPE hoodie, two LV coincases (one which you can’t see) and a Louie bag. A real expensive outfit for someone to be wearing around Soho, hats off to him. I require those red Kanye x Louis Vuitton sneakers in my life.
Tiffany, 16, Brooklyn. Earthy/Neutral tones going on here but it works ever so well. Major props to her and Olive for helping out with the street style photos.
They didn’t stick around long enough for me to get their names or where they’re from but I totally dig these chick’s fashion sense. Slightly boy-ish with the flannel and oversized beanie but the layering and colour coordination between the two is dope. Oh and ofcourse they’re both hot in my eyes. ha!
She’s got the whole cute girl next door type thing going on; real simple ensemble that consists of shades of grey and black.
Not quite ‘Street’ style with this one as it’s taken inside a shop. Recognise him? Kid Cudi. Just playing, he looks almost identical to him. In fact I’m sure this guy has based his look on the Cudder. American Apparel hoodie, KidRobot tee, Chinos (which you can’t see) and the nerdy oversized wayfarers.
I’m still 50/50 on this, I’m a big fan of Lego but this chick might have just went overboard with it. I like how the Lego colours match her shirt but the shades might be a little too Gaga for my liking.
‘scene‘ hipster wannabe kids. kinda gross? don’t you think.
