Weekly Wisdom - Plant your seed in the ground, water it and believe.

Cant believe how amazing this city is I am definitely coming back to live here for a few years, I need the full NY experience. They say it’s the city that never sleeps and I can see why, its very metropolitan, so vibrant & multicultural, there is so much to see and so much to do.

Today we tried to fit all the ‘touristy’ things into one day i.e tour bus, Statue of Liberty, Time Square, Empire State Building & Madison Square Garden but then we got side tracked by shopping *hangs head*… Erm… I’m blaming this one on the girls who dragged us into Victoria Secret for hours on end (cos we really didn’t want to be there).

Walking through Times Square, we looked like ‘freshies’ with the “ooo’s” and “ahhh’s” at everything we saw. The buildings are ridiculously tall.. all of them, it makes you feel like you’re an ant in the middle of knowhere. I love the architecture of the buildings even the ones that aren’t necessarily beautiful.

We wanted something American for lunch so we went to Wendy’s. No seriously this place is unnecessary when it comes to food. I have heard plenty stories about meals being bigger but I was shocked when we got our food. In London it’s protocol to order a medium size meal, but it looks like our super size meal is the equivalent to their small. Why was my drink as tall as my arm, that’s insane was definitely a struggle to even get through half of it! It was so good though, definitely didn’t get the “oh God, why have I done this to myself ” feeling that I get after waxing down Mac D’s.

I always wanted to ride the Subway as a child and I finally did today, another thing crossed off the todo list. It definitely isn’t as good as the infamous Tube though. We spent most of the day in Times Square and It looked like 10 Piccadilly Circus’s wedged together.. but Yin will talk more about that, but heres, a few photos we took today.

There are so many young people in London without the right guidance in life and don’t know where to turn. My dream is to set up my own company lending support, guidance and advice to young people so I can share everything I have learnt and will learn in the future with people who need it. Anyone sharing a similar vision get at me, we need to talk. Follow me on twitter
