After the influx of music posts in the past few days, I think it’s time for a some photography/film-related posts. I randomly stumbled across this short movie while I was browsing on Vimeo. It’s directed by a French director that goes by the name of David Dang and what caught my attention is the fact it was filmed on a Canon Mark II. I really need to get myself one of them but without selling a limb or two I don’t see it happening any time soon. The movie is emotionally gripping, view it after the cut.

The actor does an amazing job conveying the emotions without having the need to use any words, his facial expressions of sadness were exceptional to say the least. The filming and musical choice was just as good but what blew me away the most about it was the depth of field on the Mark II. It really worked well with the concept.
