Received this in my inbox yesterday and it was a pleasant surprise, I almost closed it after watching 5 seconds of the video as I dismissed Angel for being another SB.TV Grime artist with a Lil Wayne type tattoo addiction. He needs a makeover, someone find him a stylist pronto but I’ll stop judging his appearance. He’s a singer and an accomplished songwriter (JLS/Cheryl Cole) signed to Universal. This one of the better A64s I’ve seen, not that I’ve seen many. Video after the cut.

After the influx of music posts in the past few days, I think it’s time for a some photography/film-related posts. I randomly stumbled across this short movie while I was browsing on Vimeo. It’s directed by a French director that goes by the name of David Dang and what caught my attention is the fact it was filmed on a Canon Mark II. I really need to get myself one of them but without selling a limb or two I don’t see it happening any time soon. The movie is emotionally gripping, view it after the cut.

Acne say it’s all about denim plimsolls this summer as they unveil quick snaps what to expect. I do not remember the last time I wore plimpolls, for me they’ve always been something to quickly slide into when I can’t be asked to make an effort. However they’re so practical and simple so its easy to dress up or down- these can be quite stylish if you want to go for the preppy look. If your anything like me, you’ll be going on holiday for the weekend and you end up packing a suitcase full of sneakers because you cant decide which ones you’re going to wear, then these are perfect as they’ll squeeze in anywhere. They come in a bleached denim look of a washed out black&grey colourway. More photos after the cut.

Armani and Reebok originally announced their footwear and apparel collaboration in late January, well now they’re giving us a close but not so close look into the joint venture. More photos from this shocking collab! I’m really impress so far it looks awesome especially the photography, I cant wait to see more, I take back the negative jibes I gave it last time (still not feeling the footwear i’m sorry), us bloggers speak to soon sometimes..

Yesterday we attended the My-Wardrobe.com press day for their Autumn/Winter 2010 launch and one of the stand out pieces for me personally was this limited edition wayfarer. More from that press day later but for now I felt this wayfarer was dope enough to deserved it’s own post. What makes them so special? The shades are made of black acetate with a unique serial number that is stamped on the inside of the temple. The Ray-Ban logo and 1952 (the year the wayfarer launched) are engraved in 18k white gold at the temple as well. More photos after the cut.

I’ve always admired BAPE‘s clothing and accessories but have always felt they were way overpriced. I know it’s all exclusive but they aren’t really that exclusive anymore since they have an online store. I’m slowly growing out of street wear but that doesn’t mean I won’t stop wearing sneakers. Anyway I like accessories and these new carbiners from Bathing Ape are pretty dope. They’ve got the shape of the unmistakable ‘Sta‘ logo and come in a variety of colours. More after the cut.

Kanye is renowned for his exceptional production skills and clever use of throwback samples in many of his songs.  So I’ve decided to dedicate this week’s Throwback Thursday post to some of those classic songs that he’s used. After the cut for the compilation of songs.
