You might think you can grab a quick bargain from ebay but trust me it’s nothing compared to the new online shopping phenomenon that the Chinese have called ‘Seckilling’. The new trend already safe to be called a God send saw a university student grab a flat worth over £75,000 for a mind boggling 10 pence!
How the hell is this possible you ask!? Seckilling works by online retailers offering anything from mobile phone covers to flats at really low prices at a certain time to reward consumers for their frequent visits. The first user to click on the product then wins… it’s that simple and no there is no catch. I believe the whole point is for this phenom to spread globally and attract as many visitors as possible and ultimately attracting brands to want to buy advertising space.
Watch out because Seckilling is said to follow into the UK- imagine winning a riverside apartment for 10p!?
