I know most of ya’ll haven’t heard about this brand and a lot of sites haven’t picked up on them yet. Vlado footwear are pretty fresh and have just started to make a name for themselves in the USA with their line of Spectro kicks made especially for ‘jerking.’
I first spotted the brand on Swizz Beats in Chris Brown’s ‘I Can Transform Ya‘ video and I had to hunt it down. I was sooo stingy because I knew of a brand that no one had heard before but karma came to bite me in the ass. As Yang (lucky c*nt) got sent 2 pairs from his fam across the pond before I even ordered my pair!
After a fortnight of Parcelforce fuckery and customs charges I finally received my kicks on Christmas Eve. God really does exist.
The aristocrat is most definitely a classy hi-top that is well put together using a mixture of patent leather and spirit leather. The Aristocrat features a patent leather upper with perforated panels, hook-and-loop strap closures, and a rubber sole. The only thing I’m not feeling is the ‘luxury’ text on the outer sole, I feel its unnecessary as the sneaker is luxurious we don’t have to be reminded but it’s minor. Comfort-wise its just like any other sneaker. If you’re like me and dislike wearing formal shoes; the black patent leather of the artistocrat is a great match for more formal outfits.
I’m definitely going to cop a few more of these, Yang’s already shotgunned the purple aristocrats. There red ones are mine! I’ll leave you lot with a few more photos.
