Imma start of this week with a real dope song from Jay Electronica. Many of you have probably been sleeping on this dude’s music, he’s been on the internet for a good few years now but has yet to release a debut album. This track is supposedly off his debut record which is set drop early next year. Produced by one of my favourite producers, Just Blaze, always a pleasure to listen to his work. Links and more after the jump.

‘Exhibit C’ embodies everything people expect from real ‘Hip-Hop’ – a combination of impressive imagery of hard-hitting life experiences and confessions (slightly cliché) and crazy break beat infused with some shimmering piano notes. I’ve also added a bonus track which is a live recording of a rumored track of his album.

ATL rapper Ludacris jumps on the Robin Thické’s official remix to his newest sex anthem, Sex Therapy. I rinsed the original so this remix has arrived at the perfect time.

Next up  another ATL based artist, Lloyd. He just dropped his first ever EP to create hype for his upcoming album. Titled ‘Like Me: The Young Goldie EP’ features buzz single ‘Pusha’ which features Lil Wayne and Dipset’s Juelz Santana. If you like smooth R&B, you will definitely like this.

A few R&B joints coming up, starting with another cut from Usher. This track is produced by Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and its a beautiful song, the acoustic backing compliments his voice well.

Alexandra Burke should make more songs like this following one, better than all the Broken Heels/Bad Boys pop crap she usually comes out with.

Mary J teams up with newcomer Jazmine Sullivan for a mid-tempo R&B vocal battle, dayum.

Ja Rule is back, well sort of. He’s teamed up with an upcoming R&B singer, Cody B (Next Lloyd?). Straight away I can tell Ja’s trying to recreate the magic he had with R&B singers in the past like Ashanti, Lloyd & Christina Milian. The tune is hot and very radio friendly, looking forward to hearing more stuff from Cody B.

From one dead end to another, Bobby Brown is back with a HOT tune. Yes Whitney’s Bobby is back, not sure if this is off an upcoming album or an unreleased track but whatever. Remember kids, crack is whack.

Bobby Brown – Damaged – Link

Ya’ll probably haven’t heard this version of this song before. It was sampled in one of this year’s top Hip Hop tunes. Can you guess which one?

Imma leave you with one of my favourite Ja Rule songs!

Stay safe,

Yin.
