It’s that time of the week again! where I hook you up with some of the dopest tunes I’ve discovered this week. I’ll start things off with a track of Alicia Keys’ forthcoming project, The Element of Freedom. I’m sure the album will be a classic, she’s such an amazing vocalist! anyway the track is titled Unthinkable (I’m Ready) and its about a woman who’s ready to take the lead in her relationship. Track apparently features Drizzy Drake but I only hear him for like a split second in the background. Hit the read more button for tracks.
UPDATED – just found out that Drake wrote the song for Ms.Keys.
Also I’ve added another tune from her album featuring Jay-Z’s other half, Beyoncé. I’m not a big fan of the track but I can see it getting played in the clubs.

Next up a couple of songs off Chris Beat-her-down’s latest album, Graffiti which is set to drop tomorrow! Most of the album is about losing the one you love, we all know who he’s talking about in those songs.
Chris Brown – Fallin’ Down – Link, I’ll Go – Link, Lucky Me – Link, So Cold – Link.
James Cameron chose Leona Lewis to sing the theme song for his upcoming film, Avatar. Straight away I could tell it’s Celine Dion inspired, very reminiscent to ‘My Heart Will Go On’ which she sang for Cameron’s award winning film, Titanic. A real powerful and emotional song.

Bruno Mars – Killa On The Run – Link
Ya’ll shouldn’t play the next song when your rents are around, its quite dutty lyrically haha. Well it has to be dutty if it features 2 of the baddest ‘bitches’ in the game, Trina and Nicki Minaj.

Justin Garner – Can’t Breathe (feat. Leona Lewis) – Link
Kid Cudi is back! with a dope freestyle over a Vampire Weekend beat. I’m guessing this one is off a future mixtape.

Time for some far left ish from a band called Temper Trap. This song has been getting some airplay over here, it was featured on a Skysports advert recently but I spotted it a few months ago on an American TV Show. ot saying which one, might lose my rep! I copped their album yesterday but haven’t had time to give it a listen just yet.

Lykke Li does a beautiful cover of Shirelle’s ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’

Her voice is eargasmic.
I’ll leave you with Rihanna’s Skit on SNL last night, I actually quite like the song and its funny as hell.
